We can help take you on a journey into the next generation of viewing. It is amazing and costs absolutely nothing to set up. The technology available delivers stunning results.
This is by far the cheapest way (If not totally free) and called the anaglyph glasses method. All this requires is free software from nVIDIA for cards based on their chip sets.
See video, images, virtual worlds, movies and play pretty much every 3D game, all in REAL 3D. You will require some opposite coloured filters to look through or obtain a pair of anaglyph glasses. Red/Cyan colours are best. If you haven't explored this before, you should try it out now, it only takes around 10 minutes. All you do is download their drivers and then set them up for Anaglyph viewing.
This is one of the simplest methods of viewing real 3D on a computer.
REQUIREMENTS
Any monitor
Nvidia based graphics card.
Free Nvidia drivers. Download them now
Anaglyph glasses i.e. red/cyan or red/blue filtered glasses
(in fact any opposite coloured transparent film will do)
If you have accetate film and a printer you can make up a set of anaglyph filters very simply. Open a program that you can create two squares in, about 4cm square. Fill one square with red and the other with cyan (Cyan is maximum green and blue).

With a little knowledge of computers you should find it
pretty easy to get your system up and running in a few minutes.
HARDWARE SETUP Find any available opposite coloured film/filter or use anaglyph glasses
SOFTWARE SETUP
Nvidia card owners. Choose a stereo driver which corresponds with your display driver from our nVIDIA driver sets download page . If there is no match then you must load a display driver and stereo driver pair. We will endeavour to keep the most recent drivers here. Another useful site is Guru3D Check them out for lots of drivers and tips. Once opened click on 'stereo goggles drivers'. Here you can match older stereo drivers with display drivers if you don't want to upgrade to the latest version.
1. Install suitable nVidia display drivers for your system if necessary.
2. Install the same version nVidia 3D stereo driver and then restart your computer.
3. Open 'Display Properties' (Inside your control panel), click on the 'Settings' tab and click the 'Advanced' button. Click on the nVidia graphics card ID tab. You should see an extra control panel on the left with the Stereo Properties section. Click on 'Stereo Properties', then check the buttons 'Anaglyph' for the Stereo Type (sometimes a drop down menu) and then 'Enable' for the Stereo Enable mode. Click 'Apply'. Your system should now be a 3D computer! Wasn't so hard really, was it?
The first time 3D is enabled you may see a medical test to ensure that both the system is working and that you can view 3D. In the highly unlikely event you can not see in 3D (This condition is rare) it is suggested you do not use stereo vision. When everything is loaded correctly you will see a small square raised above a large square. Your first glimpse of 3D... NB The drivers will ask you if you saw a raised box. If you type NO the stereo drivers will be disabled. If you think you have set something incorrectly always click YES, even if you can not see a raised box.
No 3D visible indicates an incorrectly set up system.
Symptoms:
If you see two 2D images side by side.
Possible causes:
Drivers installed incorrectly or differing versions installed.
4. If you have anaglyph glasses which are red left, cyan right skip this setup number.
Click on advanced stereo properties in the left panel and then click on Anaglyph Stereo in the right panel. Customise the colour settings to match your filters or anaglyph glasses.
5. Click on stereo Setup & Test in the left panel and set the right hand panel options to best accommodate your monitor.
5. Now to test your set up, click on Launch Test Application.. You should see the Nvidia test screen in 3D. From now on it's for real!
You are now ready to test games and 3D content. During gaming 3D should operate automatically. If the 3D interferes with viewing text screens during game play, 2D/3D can be toggled with a hot key. During normal operation of your computer the system will remain in 2D until 3D is detected.
If you would prefer to use shutter glasses after trying this, you would only have to install the hardware to be up and running. Check BEST LOW COST METHOD
